Penny Gonzales wasn’t born in Austin, but she got here as fast as she could. Raised in San Antonio, Penny lived in St. Croix, St. Maarten, Galveston, Shreveport and Yuma, Arizona before moving to the Live Music Capital of the World in 1992. She found her calling at Around Austin in 2004, and in 2010 she purchased the company when the previous owner retired.
Penny’s love of travel and adventure makes her a natural fit for her job as a transportation facilitator. When she’s not working, she loves to collect seashells on Sanibel Island, Florida, with her husband, daughters, and granddaughter. Clients and colleagues love Penny’s labradoodle, Paisley, who offers a never-ending supply of mischief and affection.
